Black Tower Academy is operated by Black Tower Training, LLC ("Black Tower Academy," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit cti.blacktoweracademy.com, request the Cyber Threat Intelligence Starter Kit, or otherwise contact us.

Information we collect

When you request the Starter Kit or join the release list, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number, if you choose to give one. It is optional.
• Organization or company name
• Job title or role, and the role category you select
• Any message or information you choose to provide

We may also automatically collect limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, through standard web server logs and, where applicable, analytics or form tools.

The CTI Planning Confidence Check

The Confidence Check is scored entirely in your own browser. Your ratings are not sent to us, not stored, and not retained after you leave the page, and you do not have to identify yourself or your employer to use it. We cannot see your answers or your score.

How we use your information

• Deliver the Cyber Threat Intelligence Starter Kit
• Send you information about the release of Cyber Threat Intelligence Planning, including where and when it can be purchased
• Send companion resources, articles, educational material, workshops, and training information
• Send text messages, only where you have given a number and ticked the matching consent box
• Respond to your inquiries and requests

You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message we send, or by contacting us at the address below.

Text messages, and the phone number that is optional

The Starter Kit form asks for a phone number but does not require one. You can leave it blank and still receive the Starter Kit and every email described here.

If you do give a number, we send text messages only if you also tick the matching consent box on the form. Ticking neither means no texts. The two boxes are separate on purpose: one covers messages about the Starter Kit itself, the other covers marketing and promotional messages.

• Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of receiving the Starter Kit or anything else on this site.
